What cookies are

Some cookies are set directly by this site (first-party), and some are set by the third-party services this site uses.
Essential cookies
These cookies are necessary for the site to function and cannot be turned off via our consent banner. They do not identify you for marketing purposes. You can set your browser to block them, but some parts of the site will not work correctly if you do.

The access and refresh cookies are only set when you sign in to the staff dashboard, which is not a public-facing page. Public visitors will never see these cookies.
Analytics cookies
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is being used so we can improve it. Plausible is a privacy-respecting analytics tool: it does not use cookies, it does not track individual users across sessions or across websites, and it does not collect or share any personal data. Because Plausible does not use cookies, it does not fall under the PECR cookie consent requirement, and we load its script regardless of your analytics preference. We list it here for full transparency.
Payment cookies
When you proceed to checkout, you are redirected to Stripe's hosted payment page. Stripe sets its own cookies on its domain to process payments securely and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's privacy policy, not ours. Stripe does not set cookies on the academy.aperintel.com domain itself.
No advertising or tracking cookies
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any tracking technology that follows you across other websites. We do not share cookie data with any advertising network or social media platform.
How to manage your preferences
You can change your consent choices at any time by clicking the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of any page on this site. You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or delete cookies that have already been set. The relevant settings are usually found under Privacy or Security in your browser's preferences menu. Blocking essential cookies will affect the functionality of the staff dashboard, but will not affect the public-facing pages of the site.
