For people building their own software business rather than working for someone else's. Twelve weeks of live instruction across company setup, the Founder Genome, the full development lifecycle, payment integration, pricing models, customer support for AI products, and the marketing surfaces that compound over months. Capstone: a launched product at a public domain with payment integration live and at least one paying customer onboarded during the cohort.

Curriculum

Three phases. Twelve weeks.

Foundational business surface (Weeks 1-4), product surface (Weeks 5-8), launch and operate (Weeks 9-12).

Weeks 1-2 · Company setup

Incorporation, registered office, director duties, statutory filings. Tide, Starling, Mercury, Wise for business banking. The legal essentials: terms of service, privacy policy, refund policy, GDPR posture.

Weeks 3-4 · The funding map

SEIS/EIS Advance Assurance. R&D tax credits. UK Start Up Loans. AWS Activate, Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub, Google for Startups Cloud Programme, NVIDIA Inception. The non-dilutive funding map.

Week 5 · The Founder Genome

The founder-specific extension of the Personal Genome. Business context, market, customer, pricing, regulatory posture, top-of-mind priorities. The AI as a founder's deputy rather than a generic assistant.

Week 6 · The development lifecycle in practice

Problem statement, research, blueprint, prototype, build guide, build stages, in-build testing, integration testing, UAT, deployment, maintenance. The role of PM and BA when you are a solo founder.

Week 7 · Customer discovery

How to find ten people who want what you are about to build. Building in public via Substack, LinkedIn, Twitter/X. The compounding loop of attention.

Week 8 · The build sprint

Half of the cohort time goes here. Each founder ships their product over the back half of this week. Daily standups. Pair sessions with the instructor on architectural decisions.

Week 9 · Payment integration

Stripe Payment Intents, subscriptions, metered billing, BYOK billing models. Pricing models: per-seat, per-usage, flat subscription, freemium, BYOK plus governance fee.

Week 10 · Customer support for AI products

What to do when the AI gets it wrong. Disclosure norms. Refund triggers. The customer-service surface that distinguishes serious products from demos.

Week 11 · Launch

Launch checklist: domain, DNS, SSL, error monitoring, analytics, basic SEO. Marketing surfaces: LinkedIn, Substack, Nextdoor, WhatsApp, Discord, Reddit, faceless YouTube.

Week 12 · Capstone presentation

Each founder presents their launched product, the customer they onboarded during the cohort, the pricing rationale, and the go-to-market plan for the next quarter.
