Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel a purchase of digital services from the moment your booking is confirmed, unless the service has already started. For the Aperintel AI Academy, this means you can cancel and receive a full refund within 14 days of booking, provided your cohort has not yet started and you have not requested early access to any course materials.

When you complete your booking, you are asked to confirm that you understand that once the first live session of your cohort starts, you lose the 14-day right to cancel. This is required by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 for digital services that begin with your explicit agreement before the cancellation window closes.

Taster sessions (£29)

Taster sessions are single 90-minute live sessions. Because the entire service is delivered in one sitting, we do not offer refunds after the session has started. If you need to cancel before the session, email us at least 24 hours in advance and we will refund your fee in full. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will not be refunded, but we will offer you a transfer to the next available taster session.

Paid cohort courses (£499 to £5,000)

Full-price enrolments

You may cancel and receive a full refund within 14 days of booking, provided the cohort has not yet started. Once the first session of your cohort has started, no refund is available for the course fee.

Deposit plan enrolments

If you paid a 25% deposit and have not yet paid the balance, you can cancel within 14 days of booking and we will refund the deposit in full, provided the cohort has not started. Once the cohort has started, or once you have paid the balance, the same rules as full-price enrolments apply.

Missed sessions

Missing individual sessions within a cohort does not entitle you to a partial refund. Where a session has to be missed, we will do our best to share materials and any notes with enrolled students after the fact, but live attendance is the way to get the value of the cohort.

Exceptional circumstances

We understand that things happen. Medical emergencies, bereavement, and other circumstances outside your control may make it impossible to complete a course after it has started. In those cases, email us at academy@aperintel.com with your booking reference and a brief explanation. We will consider each case on its merits and may offer a credit toward a future cohort, a partial refund, or a transfer. We cannot guarantee any particular outcome, but we will not treat people badly.

How to request a refund

  1. Email academy@aperintel.com with the subject line "Refund request".
  2. Include your full name, the email address used to book, and your Stripe session reference (shown in your confirmation email and on the booking confirmation page).
  3. We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days and confirm the outcome within 5 working days.
  4. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5 to 10 working days, depending on your card issuer.
